Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami distributed appointment letters to 236 assistant teachers on Friday, selected under the Elementary Education Department at the Directorate of Education, Nanurkheda. Out of 473 assistant teachers chosen in the first phase, the remaining candidates are waiting for appointments from their respective districts. Dhami emphasized that efforts are underway to enhance the quality of education in the state, urging for a prompt proposal for funds to repair dilapidated school buildings.

Congratulating the appointed candidates, Chief Minister Dhami expressed his privilege in facilitating the teachers' vital role in shaping the state's future. He stressed the crucial responsibility teachers bear in society and lauded quality education as the cornerstone of life and national heritage.

Dhami highlighted the role of technology and innovation in modern education, expressing hope that the newly appointed teachers will bring fresh perspectives to their schools.
