Massive Blaze at Russian Diesel Depot Ignited by Ukrainian Drone

A colossal blaze, sparked by a Ukrainian drone attack, has consumed several diesel storage tanks in Russia's southern Rostov region, according to local authorities. This incident marks another escalation in the ongoing retaliatory actions between the two nations.

The fire, which broke out at a depot in the Proletarsk district, has set ablaze around 20 of the 74 storage tanks. More than 500 firefighters are working around the clock to contain the inferno, as reported by the RIA news agency, citing local administration head Valery Gornich.

On Monday, Governor Vasily Golubev informed via Telegram that 41 firefighters had received medical treatment, with five currently in emergency care. The Baza Telegram channel, known for its connections to Russian law enforcement, indicated on Tuesday that the fire had spread to cover 10,000 square meters and is expected to persist for several days.
