The heartbreaking incident took place around 7 pm on Saturday in the Risali area under the Padmanabhpur police station's jurisdiction. The boys, both 14 years old, were so engrossed in their games that they failed to notice the approaching Dalli Rajhara-Durg local train.

The victims were identified as Puran Sahu and Veer Singh, residents of the Risali Sector in Bhilai city. Police arrived at the scene promptly and sent the bodies for post-mortem. A case has been registered, and further investigations are ongoing.
