Union Home Minister Amit Shah announced on Monday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has a vision of a 'Viksit Bharat' (Developed India) by 2047, expressing confidence that this will be realized through the efforts of party members. Speaking at the launch of the BJP's 2024 membership drive 'Sanghatan Parva, Sadasyata Abhiyan 2024', Shah emphasized that the party's journey has been driven by ideology, enduring both defeats and victories.

"PM Modi envisions a developed India by 2047. Our mission is to celebrate India's centenary of independence by making her a leader in every field, with BJP as the facilitator," Shah stated. He underscored the uniqueness of BJP, noting it is the only political party in India that runs its membership drive democratically every six years.

Shah recounted the achievements of the BJP-led government over the past decade, including providing Rs 5 lakh insurance to 60 crore people and advancements in sectors such as rural and urban development, energy, space, digitalization, infrastructure, and health. He also noted significant decisions like the construction of the Ram Temple, the removal of Article 370, and the law against triple talaq. The new membership drive aims to include people from every community, caste, religion, and age group. Prime Minister Modi renewed his membership on Monday to kickstart the campaign.
