Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Tuesday extolled Prime Minister Narendra Modi following his three-day tour of the United States, declaring that the visit reaffirmed the PM's status as a distinguished global statesman and a trendsetter of extraordinary merit. Chief Minister Shinde commended PM Modi's engagement with technology and business leaders and stated that the PM's investment-seeking initiatives would ultimately benefit Maharashtra.

Shinde also expressed contentment that Prime Minister Narendra Modi secured the return of nearly 300 antiquities during his trip to the US. Taking to social media platform X, Shinde posted, 'PM Narendra Modi Ji's USA visit has once again highlighted his position as a global statesman and unparalleled trendsetter. In a brief visit, he managed to cover multiple sectors, fortifying India's path to advancement. As Indians, we take immense pride seeing our Prime Minister received warmly, especially by President Biden at his personal residence and school.'

'I commend the interaction with technology and business magnates. Maharashtra enjoys strong ties with many of these figures, and the PM's endeavors to attract investments will naturally benefit our state. I am particularly delighted that PM Modi facilitated the return of nearly 300 antiquities from the USA. It's vital for a leader to remain connected to cultural roots, which is exactly what PM Modi demonstrates,' Shinde added. Following his three-day US visit, PM Modi departed for India on Monday from New York's John F. Kennedy Airport. During the visit, PM Modi attended the QUAD Leaders' Summit, participated in the 'Modi and US' event with the Indian diaspora, and delivered an address at the 'Summit of the Future' at the UN General Assembly.

Additionally, he held crucial bilateral discussions with Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Palestine's President Mahmoud Abbas. Describing his visit, PM Modi posted on X, 'It has been a productive USA visit, encompassing diverse programs and focusing on various topics aimed at improving our planet.'
