American Express India announced an array of new benefits for its platinum cardholders on Tuesday, enhancing travel and lifestyle privileges. The new offerings add substantial value in key areas such as travel, dining, and everyday conveniences, enriching the overall card member experience, the company stated.

With both new enhancements and existing exclusive features included, the platinum card now delivers a cumulative annual value surpassing Rs 4,50,000, incorporating an additional value of over Rs 1,40,000, as reported in the statement.

'The platinum card has been a hallmark of excellence in the premium card membership category for more than 40 years,' said Puneet Bhatia, Vice President of Acquisition and Product Management at American Express Banking Corp India. This year, American Express refreshed its Platinum Corporate Card and now extends powerful benefits to the Platinum Consumer Card, targeting individual consumers and corporates. The annual fee for the card is Rs 66,000 plus applicable taxes.
