Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his commitment to preserving the region’s diverse dialects and cultural heritage. Modi’s emphasis includes the protection of Garhwali, Kumaoni, and Jaunsari dialects, alongside a call for migrants to stay connected with their roots.

CM Dhami noted that the state government will treat the Prime Minister's nine-point agenda, revealed during the State Foundation Day, as a blueprint for development. These initiatives, he stated, include appeals directed at both locals and tourists to bolster cultural and environmental preservation efforts.

Policies surrounding these appeals are underway, with incentives for regional language films and support for traditional fairs like Igas and Harela gaining prominence. Environmental campaigns, like 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam', are expanding, aiming to boost Uttarakhand's green coverage and address water purity and plastic waste issues.
