Telangana's Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has declared the state's firm stance against what he perceives as the Central Government's deliberate move to sideline Southern States through the upcoming delimitation of Assembly and Lok Sabha constituencies. Speaking to the press after a crucial meeting with a DMK delegation in Delhi, Reddy emphasized the collaborative approach being fostered to protect the southern political landscape.

'This isn't merely about delimitation; it's a blatant attempt to dilute the significance of our Southern States,' remarked Reddy. The Chief Minister vehemently opposed any endeavors intended to diminish the political clout of regions that have historically contributed significantly to the nation, warning against retaliation plans by the BJP.

Reddy confirmed his attendance at a strategic meeting initiated by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin scheduled for March 22 in Chennai. This meeting aims to devise steps for countering the proposed delimitation detriments, with representatives from various parties in Telangana expected to align in solidarity. Reddy called on all political factions to transcend political lines in this endeavor, urging BJP leaders to ensure that the concerns raised are communicated to the Union Cabinet.
