India Strikes Back: Operation Sindoor Targets Terror Camps in Pakistan

Operation Sindoor, a precision strike by Indian Armed Forces, dismantled key terrorist infrastructures in Pakistan and PoK. The operation avenged the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, with strikes targeting Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed, and Hizbul Mujahideen camps, ensuring no civilian casualties.

In a bold move, the Indian Armed Forces executed Operation Sindoor, a targeted strike aimed at obliterating terrorist infrastructures in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). This operation was launched in direct response to the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22. During a press briefing in the capital, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, Colonel Sofiya Qureshi, and Wing Commander Vyomika Singh elaborated on the mission's objectives and its achievements, confirming that four out of the nine targeted terror camps were situated in Pakistan, with others located in PoK.

The operation specifically targeted links to prominent terrorist groups such as Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), and Hizbul Mujahideen. Colonel Qureshi named Bahawalpur, Muridke, Sarjal, and Mehmoona Joya as the destroyed camps in Pakistan. She detailed the involvement of these camps in previous terror activities, including the notorious 2008 Mumbai attacks.

The strikes, coordinated between the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force, took place early Wednesday morning and were precise enough to avoid any civilian casualties. Colonel Qureshi emphasized that the mission did not target any military installations. This decisive action was aimed at crippling terror networks responsible for recent and past attacks and demonstrated India's resolve to retaliate against terrorist threats effectively.
