In the face of escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) have stepped forward to address public concerns about fuel availability. Both firms have confirmed ample stocks of petrol, diesel, and cooking gas LPG, urging citizens to avoid panic buying.
Reports of panic buying surfaced mainly in states bordering Pakistan after a series of intensified conflicts. However, IOC and BPCL assured that their supply chains are operating smoothly, ensuring an uninterrupted supply of fuel across the nation.
Officials encouraged the public to stay calm, emphasizing that a seamless supply line is crucial for maintaining steady access to fuel and energy needs. Despite increased demand in regions like Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir due to the military tensions, both companies remain committed to energy reliability and accessibility.
