Tensions at Bushehr: Russia's Nuclear Diplomacy
Alexei Likhachev, head of Russia's nuclear corporation, confirmed the continued presence of Russian specialists at Iran's Bushehr nuclear plant. He emphasized the normality and control of the situation while urging Israel to heed Russia's warnings against attacking the site. Russia cautioned against U.S. intervention supporting Israel.
Alexei Likhachev, the head of Russia's nuclear energy corporation, confirmed that Russian nuclear specialists remain actively engaged at the Bushehr power plant in Iran.
Likhachev assured that the operational state of the plant is normal and under close control, amidst heightened tensions in the region.
Amid these tensions, Russia has counseled against any military aggression by Israel and cautioned the United States against intervening in favor of Israel, given Russia's strategic alliance with Iran.
