As the results of the Visavadar by-polls declared Gopal Italia from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) as the winner and Sanjeev Arora maintained a lead in Ludhiana West, jubilant AAP workers commenced celebrations outside their Chandigarh office on Monday.
Praising the victorious moment, Punjab AAP president and state minister Aman Arora attributed the success to Arvind Kejriwal's policies, the efforts of the Bhagwant Mann government, and the diligence of the party's workers and volunteers. He highlighted the contribution of Sanjeev Arora's character in securing the win.
Party in-charge Manish Sisodia expressed gratitude toward AAP workers in Punjab and stated that the victory was a morale booster. The win was celebrated as a precursor to bigger electoral challenges. Counting for recent assembly by-elections spanned across Gujarat, Kerala, West Bengal, and Punjab, showing significant voter participation particularly in Nilambur, Kerala.
