Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut called for public apologies from Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, along with other BJP leaders, and Eknath Shinde. This demand came after a Special Investigation Team (SIT) from Mumbai Police concluded that there was no foul play in Disha Salian's death.
The SIT submitted its findings to the Bombay High Court, dismissing any murder or conspiracy theories. Rohit Pawar, an NCP leader, condemned the BJP for attempting to link Aaditya Thackeray to the case, accusing them of using it for political gain.
Meanwhile, Disha Salian's father, Satish Salian, remains determined to seek justice. Having filed a writ petition against Aaditya Thackeray and others, he continues to press for narco tests on those accused, lamenting the lack of progress under the previous government.
