Simultaneously, AAP Delhi president Saurabh Bharadwaj criticized Delhi's resource allocation, arguing that police are focused on 'political work,' diverting from crucial law enforcement duties. Bharadwaj pointed out that a shortage of officers remains unaddressed due to prolonged recruitment delays by the Centre.
Police reports revealed that the victims, a 42-year-old woman and her 14-year-old son, were found slain at their residence. The suspect, Mukesh from Bihar, was detained by Uttar Pradesh police. Investigations continue as political leaders debate security and law enforcement policies.
