Gujarat Pradesh Congress Committee Chief Amit Chavda announced on Thursday that Rahul Gandhi, the Lok Sabha Leader of the Opposition, will visit Gujarat on July 26. He is scheduled to arrive at Vadodara airport in the morning and participate in a training program being held in Anand.
According to Chavda, the Congress party is marking 2025 as an organizational year. In line with this initiative, a day-long training camp will be held in Anand, with Gandhi's participation underscoring its significance. This visit is additionally part of the broader Congress strategy as the All India Congress Committee celebrates 2025 as an organization festival.
Rahul Gandhi's visit follows the Indian National Congress's national convention in April, after a hiatus of six decades in Ahmedabad. During his earlier address to Gujarat's Congress workers, Gandhi emphasized the need to purge the party of individuals allegedly allied with the BJP to foster a stronger grassroots connection.
