Solar Salary Standoff: Workers Demand Dues Amid Allegations of Corruption

Employees of Pekhubela's solar power project in Una district, Himachal Pradesh, have initiated a protest outside their office, citing unpaid salaries for the past three months.

The 32 MW project, erected at a cost of Rs 220 crore, faces corruption allegations amid claims of unfulfilled employment promises. Currently, 26 employees haven't received their dues.

Heavy rains have flooded the project site, causing an estimated Rs 10 crore loss. With BJP support, employees demand resolution, threatening intensified protests if corruption issues remain unresolved.
