In a significant crackdown on organized crime, Delhi Police arrested a member of the notorious Nandu Gang, recovering a sophisticated pistol and two live cartridges. Identified as Ishwar Singh alias Monu, the suspect faces charges under Section 25 of the Arms Act, with links to seven prior cases, officials confirmed.
On a related front, the Special Task Force of the South East District Police detained Ekamjot Singh Sandhu from the Arsh Dalla gang, seizing four semi-automatic pistols. The operation, led by Inspector Shiv Kumar, occurred near the ESI Hospital in Okhla, based on precise intelligence inputs.
Police revealed these arrests are part of ongoing investigations into illegal arms trafficking. The gangs reportedly sourced sophisticated firearms from Madhya Pradesh.
