The city of Bhopal witnessed a fervent protest led by Bajrang Dal activists on Monday, spurred by the interception of an auto-rickshaw allegedly transporting beef, a sensitive issue in the region. The incident prompted the police to detain two suspects, both residents of the Aishbagh area, as part of their ongoing investigation.

Assistant Commissioner of Police, Bittu Sharma, informed ANI about the swift arrest of the accused and pledged rigorous measures against any illegality uncovered, including the potential demolition of a purportedly illegal dairy unit. Thorough scrutiny is underway, with charges filed according to the applicable legal provisions.

Bajrang Dal activist Hari Om Sharma vocalized the group's distress, asserting that several quintals of beef were discovered near the Aishbagh police jurisdiction. Citing a concerning pattern, Sharma remarked on five cow slaughter incidents emerging over the past six months, pressing for immediate and stringent administrative action as promised by local authorities.
