In a stark warning, former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev cautioned on Monday against the potential dangers of supplying U.S. Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine. He emphasized that this move could spell disaster for everyone involved, especially U.S. President Donald Trump.
Medvedev expressed concerns over the inability to distinguish between Tomahawk missiles armed with nuclear warheads and those with conventional armaments once operational. This, he suggested, makes the situation particularly precarious.
In a cryptic message on Telegram, Medvedev appeared to hint at a severe form of retaliation, potentially nuclear in nature, should Moscow need to respond.
