Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel extended his greetings to the residents of Gujarat on the first day of Vikram Samvat 2082, expressing optimism that the New Year would bring prosperity and further progress for the state. He emphasized the importance of 'Har Ghar Swadeshi' and 'Vocal for Local' in realizing the vision of an self-reliant India, as envisaged by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
During celebrations at the Annexe Circuit House in Shahibag, Ahmedabad, CM Patel mingled with citizens, promoting the idea of collective progress for a developed Gujarat. On social media platform X, he shared his thoughts, encouraging unity among citizens.
Marking the occasion, the Chief Minister visited the Bhadrakali Mata Temple in Ahmedabad, where he offered prayers for the state's happiness and prosperity. He later met with key figures, including State President Jagdish Vishwakarma and Minister of State Darshna Vaghela, exchanging festive greetings with them and senior police officials, along with their families, at the Police Officers' Mess.
