A fire ignited in the battery storage room of a solar plant situated at Dumka Airport in Jharkhand, officials reported Thursday.
Thanks to prompt intervention, the blaze at Sidhu Kanhu Airport was extinguished swiftly, ensuring no injuries occurred, according to the Director of Operations, Civil Aviation Department, Jharkhand.
Dumka's Deputy Commissioner confirmed the fire was restricted to the solar plant's vicinity and emphasized there was no major damage. Authorities have tasked the responsible private agency to address the underlying technical problems.
