China to provide humanitarian aid to Sri Lanka for flood relief

China will provide Sri Lanka with $1 million in cash and relief supplies worth 10 million yuan ($1.4 million) after floods and landslides left hundreds dead in the South Asian nation, China International Development Cooperation Agency said Tuesday.
The agency said the aid includes life jackets, tents, blankets and bed sheets, and will be delivered promptly to support Sri Lanka's disaster relief efforts.
