Sahaja Reddy Udumala, a 24-year-old cyber security professional from Telangana, tragically lost her life in a fire accident in the United States, as confirmed by her family on Saturday.
After completing her Masters in Cyber Security, Reddy began her career in the U.S. just a few months ago. The unfortunate incident occurred when a fire broke out at her residence in Albany, New York, while she was asleep. Despite quick medical assistance, she succumbed to severe burns after 15 hours of treatment.
Her family, originally from Jangaon district in Telangana, is devastated. Meanwhile, her uncle, Udumala Bala, an Archbishop, has appealed to the Telangana state government for help in bringing Reddy's remains back to India. Support from the Telugu community in the U.S. has been overwhelming during this challenging period.
