According to local authorities, the bank's management reported the disappearance of the valuables to Azadnagar police on December 11. The subsequent investigation swiftly pointed to Shatrughan Kumar Choudhary, a clerk at the branch, as the primary suspect in the intriguing crime.

The 38-year-old accused hails from Bihar's Nalanda district, but resided in Jamshedpur's Mango area. As the investigation continues, police are working diligently to determine if Choudhary acted alone or with accomplices in this notable breach of trust.
