In a heartbreaking incident, ten Indian Army personnel lost their lives in a road accident in Doda district, Jammu and Kashmir. An equal number of soldiers were injured in the crash, according to the office of Lt Governor Manoj Sinha on Thursday.
Expressing his condolences, Lt Governor Manoj Sinha stated, "Deeply saddened at the loss of lives of 10 of our brave Indian Army soldiers in this unfortunate road accident in Doda. We will always remember their outstanding service and supreme sacrifice." The nation stands in solidarity with the grieving families during this time of sorrow.
The accident occurred in the Khani Top area of Bhaderwah, initiating immediate rescue and relief operations. Despite challenging terrain and weather conditions, Army and local administration teams worked rigorously at the scene. Injured personnel received first aid before being airlifted to Udhampur for advanced medical treatment.
