SJVN's Dhubri Solar Power Plant Lights Up Assam
State-owned SJVN has commenced electricity supply from its 70 megawatt Dhubri solar power plant in Assam, developed by its subsidiary SJVN Green Energy Limited. The project is expected to generate 141.13 million units in its first year, promoting clean and affordable energy at Rs 3.92 per unit.

SJVN, a state-owned enterprise, has announced the commencement of electricity production from its 70 MW solar power project in Dhubri, Assam. The project, executed through SJVN Green Energy Limited, is set on 330 acres of leased land.
This ambitious solar plant will generate approximately 141.13 million units in its inaugural year and about 3,230 million units over the next 25 years. The electricity will be supplied to Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL) at a fixed rate of Rs 3.92 per unit.
This initiative underscores SJVN's commitment to providing affordable and sustainable energy solutions, supporting regional development and environmental conservation.
