A tragic accident involving a Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) bus resulted in the deaths of two individuals, after a collision with a scooter and an e-rickshaw in Nangloi. The incident sparked outrage among locals, who set the bus ablaze before authorities could intervene. Fire brigade teams arrived to manage the blaze.
According to Delhi Police, the authorities quickly moved the bus from the scene, and the injured were rushed to Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital. The bus driver has been arrested, and a comprehensive investigation into the incident is currently underway.
In an unrelated event earlier this year, a Lucknow-Delhi bus overturned on the Firozabad expressway, resulting in injuries to 18 passengers. An official stated that most were discharged with minor injuries, though one was referred for further medical attention. Emergency services responded promptly to the situation.
