The Southern Command of the Indian Army recently executed Exercise AMOGH JWALA at the Babina Field Firing Ranges, aiming to affirm innovative mechanised warfare abilities in a multi-faceted operational setting. The exercise validated transformative operations concepts, procedures, and protocols critical to modern military engagement.

Lieutenant General Dhiraj Seth, Commanding-in-Chief, praised the troops for their exceptional professionalism and operational readiness. He underscored the importance of technology adoption, joint operations, and comprehensive integration of diverse capabilities, including land, air, cyberspace, ISR, and Electronic Warfare, to establish a formidable combat-ready force adept at navigating evolving battle environments.

The high-tempo drills demonstrated mechanised movements with precise coordination, drone-supported real-time surveillance, and advanced integration of battlefield technologies. Enhanced surveillance and communication systems, alongside precision strikes, facilitated rapid, informed decision-making during the exercise.

The event also highlighted effective Electronic Warfare, Air Defence, and night-fighting capabilities, emphasizing the Army's growing prowess as a networked, future-ready force. Simultaneously, the Sapta Shakti Command executed the Jaipur Soldierathon, where veterans, including those in wheelchairs, participated, showcasing indomitable spirit and solidarity with the forces.
