In a significant stride towards industrial decarbonisation, Hinduja Renewables Energy Private Limited (HREPL) has signed a long-term solar Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with LG Electronics India (LGE India).
The agreement entails HREPL supplying 9.80 MWp of solar energy to LGE India's Pune facility, marking LGE India's first captive renewable energy project in India.
This collaboration aims to support LGE India's sustainability goals, reduce carbon emissions, and bolster India's collective drive towards net-zero ambitions, reflecting Hinduja Group's commitment to renewable energy and sustainable manufacturing.
