IntelliSmart Infrastructure announced on Monday its latest achievement: securing a letter of award for a high-profile smart metering project from Madhya Pradesh Paschim Kshetra Vidyut Vitran Company Ltd. The comprehensive plan involves deploying 557,000 smart meters in the cities of Indore and Ujjain.

This venture marks IntelliSmart's entry into Madhya Pradesh, bolstering its national presence. The company's order book has now swelled to include 22.8 million smart meters across India, positioning it as a formidable leader within the industry.

Anil Rawal, Managing Director and CEO of IntelliSmart, expressed optimism regarding the project, highlighting its significance in advancing Madhya Pradesh's energy transition under the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme framework. India targets 250 million smart meter installations by 2028 as part of this initiative.
