In a bid to combat financial cyber fraud, Financial Services Secretary M Nagaraju has urged banks nationwide to integrate the MuleHunter AI tool, developed by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), into their systems at the earliest opportunity.

During a comprehensive meeting with senior law enforcement officials, RBI executives, and banking representatives, Nagaraju reviewed rising instances of digital financial fraud and the misuse of mule accounts by cybercriminals. He also advised the State Level Bankers' Committee to increase awareness initiatives and collaborate with state police authorities to combat these crimes.
