A deadly drone and missile attack struck Ukraine's Poltava region overnight, leaving four people dead and 31 injured, local officials confirmed on Tuesday. Russian forces targeted the central district, causing extensive damage to infrastructure and the community.

Direct hits and falling debris were reported at two locations within the Poltava district, according to Vitalii Diakivnych via the Telegram messaging app. This has compounded the ongoing crises faced by residents as vital services are disrupted.

An industrial enterprise took a significant hit in the attack, cutting off gas supplies to nearly 3,500 residents. Additionally, damage to the railway infrastructure is further complicating the movement of people and goods in the region.
