In a heart-wrenching turn of events, two minor girls took their own lives in Ambajogai town, Beed district, Maharashtra. The incidents occurred separately on Thursday following disagreements with their mothers, according to local police reports.
The first tragedy unfolded in the Mangaiwadi area, where a 15-year-old girl allegedly hanged herself from a tree after a morning scolding from her mother, who was overwhelmed by household duties. The girl, one of four sisters, reportedly felt despondent after hearing reproaches for not helping more with domestic tasks.
Meanwhile, in a separate incident in Malinagar, a 14-year-old girl used a scarf to hang herself from a ceiling fan in her home. Despite being rushed to the hospital by family members, she was pronounced dead on arrival. This second suicide also followed a parental reprimand over similar household issues.
