Modi's Mega Development Tour: Boost to Gujarat & Daman Projects

On June 5, 2026, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Gujarat and Daman to oversee and inaugurate crucial development projects. His tour kicks off at 2:30 PM in Hazira, Surat district, where he will assess industrial operations and infrastructure endeavors. Notably, he will launch and dedicate projects valued at approximately ₹18,800 crore in Surat, along with addressing a public gathering.
Continuing to Daman, Modi will inaugurate the new NAMO Airport terminal and dedicate the NAMO Hospital to the nation, followed by launching projects worth around ₹2,970 crore at 6:15 PM. These initiatives encompass healthcare, civil aviation, tourism, and infrastructure, poised to propel regional growth and development in Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu.
The Prime Minister's itinerary includes inaugurating parts of the Vadodara-Mumbai Expressway, laying the foundation for critical national highway expansions, and unveiling several projects under India's Revamped Reforms-Based Distribution Sector Scheme. Additionally, projects in Lakshadweep, including port development and multipurpose jetties, aim to bolster maritime connectivity and drive socio-economic growth. (ANI)
