The Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee (HPCC) has taken a firm stance against members discussing internal grievances on social media. During a press briefing in Shimla, HPCC Secretary (Organisation) Vinod Zinta labeled such actions as 'unfortunate,' emphasizing their detrimental impact on the party's image.
He confirmed that the party is seriously considering remarks by leader Neeraj Bharti. The disciplinary committee will meet on June 9 to deliberate on further steps. Zinta highlighted that individuals using media platforms for internal matters risk expulsion.
Dispelling allegations of neglect towards party workers by the state government, Zinta assured of strong coordination and urged members to use internal mechanisms for grievances. He highlighted available platforms, including potential escalation to Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu and AICC in-charge Rajni Patil if issues aren't resolved.
Zinta also criticized the BJP-led Union government for rising LPG prices and inflation, accusing them of failing the nation and prioritizing corporate interests over the public. Drawing comparisons with Jawaharlal Nehru, he accused the current administration of promoting polarization and mishandling unemployment.
