Bahrain to host mega summit on maritime safety amid Iran tensions

Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain said that 60 countries will be invited to summit which is being hosted in cooperation with US and Poland.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has confirmed that Bahrain is preparing to host a summit on maritime and air navigation security in cooperation with the United States of America and Poland, with the participation of more than 60 countries. Bahrain stressed that this initiative is a step towards the establishment of security and stability in the Gulf region amid rising Iran tensions.

The Foreign Ministry also said that this summit will provide an opportunity for consultation and exchange of visions among many countries in the world, to find ways to ensure freedom of navigation amid recent tanker attacks and seizures.
