France hopeful about use of interferon as COVID-19 therapy: health minister

French Health Minister Olivier Veran said on Thursday that a trial in France using interferons as a therapy for people at risk of serious forms of COVID-19 is well advanced and he hoped for positive results soon.
He also said another therapy, using monoclonal antibodies, had regulatory approval for use in France and was being rolled out to some patients.
