Renowned Cardiothoracic Surgeon Dr. Murali P. Vettath, his team, and Kumaran's police colleagues were among those who attended. The son of the donor experienced the poignant moment of hearing his father's heartbeat via Kumaran's heart.

Kumaran's heart transplant, following two failed angioplasties, was made possible by a generous donation from Bileesh's family and support from Kumaran's police batchmates and the government. The swift procedure led to improved outcomes, emphasizing the significance of organ donation.
