Furthermore, the state has approved an investment of Rs 300 crore to bolster cancer treatment facilities. This includes Rs 75 crore each for building the Centre of Excellence in Cancer Care at Hamirpur and a bone marrow transplant facility in Chamiyana, Shimla. Additionally, Rs 150 crore will be allocated for acquiring world-class cancer treatment equipment at the Hamirpur Centre of Excellence.
