Eleven cases of swine flu have been detected in Madhya Pradesh's Jabalpur district, a health official announced on Tuesday.
The cases were reported between July 11 and August 6, according to Health Department Joint Director Dr. Sanjay Mishra.
Six of the 11 patients were discharged from a private hospital after recovery, while the remaining patients are still recovering, Dr. Mishra stated. The infected individuals had initially experienced symptoms like cold, cough, and fever before testing positive. The infected individuals hail from various areas within the district.
In efforts to curb the disease's spread, health department teams are conducting widespread tests in the impacted regions.
