Pfizer Ltd announced that its board has approved a strategic marketing and supply agreement with Mylan Pharmaceuticals Pvt Ltd, aiming to expand the reach of two significant brands, Ativan and Pacitane.
Ativan is primarily used for treating anxiety disorders, while Pacitane is prescribed as an adjunct therapy for various forms of Parkinsonism. The agreement is slated to last five years and is limited to the Indian market.
According to Pfizer, leveraging Mylan's robust presence in the central nervous system therapy domain—especially among neurologists and psychiatrists—will substantially enhance product distribution and clinical presence.
