In Pashamylaram, tragedy has struck as the death toll from an explosion at the Sigachi Industries pharmaceutical plant rises to 34, according to local police.
Rescue operations have revealed numerous bodies beneath the debris, with 31 victims recovered and three more succumbing to injuries at a hospital. Police Superintendent Paritosh Pankaj confirmed that the rescue efforts are ongoing.
