Tragedy Strikes Chhattisgarh Village: Five Dead from Contaminated Feast

In a tragic incident in Chhattisgarh's Narayanpur district, five individuals succumbed to suspected food contamination following a post-funeral meal, authorities reported on Friday.

The deaths occurred in Dunga village under the Orchha development block, with victims dying within a week. Among the deceased are an infant and four adults, highlighting the severity of the incident.

Local health officials responded by setting up a health camp and have been actively treating affected residents. Investigations are underway to determine the exact source of the contamination, while residents are being urged to consume fresh food and boiled water for safety.
