Apollo Pharmacy is embarking on an ambitious expansion plan, aiming to open two new stores every day in a bid to increase its customer base to 100 million within five years. This expansion strategy was unveiled by CEO P Jayakumar, who emphasized the importance of making high-quality medicines accessible nationwide.
With the recent opening of its latest store in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, Apollo Pharmacy has crossed the 7,000-store mark. Apollo HealthCo, its parent company, operates these stores, serving vast areas across more than 19,000 pin codes. The organization is committed to reinforcing its presence in neighborhood pharmacy networks and ensuring it remains the top healthcare choice.
Apollo's expansion effort includes a significant focus on its paid healthcare loyalty program, Apollo Circle, which boasts over 10 million members. Executive Chairperson Shobana Kamineni highlighted that Apollo Pharmacy is currently handling over a million orders daily, reflecting the trust and reliance placed on Apollo by countless families. The firm is dedicated to further expanding access to healthcare resources throughout India.
