Zydus Lifesciences Launches Affordable OPEP Device 'PEPAIR'

Zydus Lifesciences introduced PEPAIR, India's first affordable Oscillating Positive Expiratory Pressure device. Zydus Lifesciences has announced the launch of PEPAIR, a breakthrough in respiratory aid technology. This affordable Oscillating Positive Expiratory Pressure (OPEP) device is set to transform treatment for millions suffering from diseases like COPD, asthma, and bronchiectasis in India.

The innovative PEPAIR device, developed in collaboration with AeroDel Technology Innovations, focuses on effective mucus clearance and improved breathing, addressing chronic mucus hypersecretion, a common issue for many Indian patients with respiratory conditions. This device offers a drug-free, handheld solution designed to support pulmonary rehabilitation and everyday care.

As respiratory diseases see a sharp increase due to factors like air pollution and rapid urbanization, PEPAIR presents a timely solution. With over 90 lakh people suffering from such conditions, the introduction of India's first affordable OPEP device comes as a significant step towards better respiratory health management.
