Out of 100 girls not even a single girl said that they liked their periods..

Praveenlata Sansthan under its initiative Spotlessdame organized a Capacity Building workshop for 100 girls from Govt Sr Sec School, Garrda villages at Bundi District in Rajasthan a Program Supported by StoneShippers Ltd.

The workshop was delivered by Juhi, Nazish and Mayank interns from SPJIMR, Mumbai. Girls during the session came up with various questions about their periods.

Why are my periods not regular? Is it ok if I don't menstruate for 2 months? I didn't menstruate for 4 months. Is anything wrong? Why r we considered impure during those days? We tried to answer their queries and also asked them to check with a doctor.

After the session a yearly Sanitation kit comprising of Cloth Pad, Towel and Soap were distributed to all.
