Al Dhaid Date Festival 2024 Set to Showcase the Best of UAE's Date Palm Cultivation

The 8th edition of the Al Dhaid Date Festival is all set to take place from July 25-28 at Expo Al Dhaid. Organized by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the festival will feature new competitions, extensive participation from palm farmers, valuable prizes, and cultural programs.

Dubai [UAE], July 18 (ANI/WAM): The Organising Committee of the 'Al Dhaid Date Festival 2024' has finalized preparations for the 8th edition of the event, scheduled for July 25-28 at Expo Al Dhaid. Organized by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), the festival will see active participation from palm farmers and date enthusiasts across the UAE.

This year's festival will introduce the 'Ratb Al Kharaif Beauty' competition for children, making its debut in the UAE. Additionally, mainstay contests like 'The Most Beautiful Home-grown Dates' (exclusive for women), and the 'Rare Dates' competition will also feature prominently.

The festival promises fierce competition with 130 prizes up for grabs. Numerous economic, commercial, and cultural activities will be held to educate attendees about palm trees and their varieties. Mohammad Musabah Al Tunaiji, General Coordinator of the festival, highlighted the innovative competitions and significant prizes aimed at promoting date cultivation.
