The Ministry of External Affairs confirmed the appointment in an official statement, highlighting Joshi's extensive experience. "Shri Mayank Joshi (IFS:2003), presently High Commissioner of India to Jamaica, has been concurrently accredited as the next High Commissioner of India to the Cayman Islands, with residence in Kingston," the statement read.
