Air Arabia has revealed its impressive financial and operational outcomes for the year ending December 31, 2024, achieving a record pre-tax net profit of AED 1.6 billion, an increase of 4% from 2023's AED 1.5 billion. The airline's total turnover for the year exceeded AED 6.63 billion, reflecting an 11% growth.
The 2024 financial year saw Air Arabia enhance its commitment to expansion by increasing operational capacity by 13% and introducing 31 new routes across six hubs, leading to a 12% rise in passengers to a total of 18.8 million. The average seat load factor improved by 2%, reaching 82%, indicating sustained demand for its cost-effective services.
The Board of Directors proposed a 25% dividend distribution, subject to the forthcoming Annual General Meeting's approval. Chairman Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohamed Al Thani remarked on the remarkable growth and strategic success achieved in 2024, highlighting the airline's robust business model and effective strategic vision.
