In a widespread crackdown on legal violations, 131 Pakistani nationals have been expelled from 12 different countries, The News International reported. These deportations, carried out since Friday, were attributed to offenses ranging from drug-related activities to illegal entry and employment regulation breaches.

Saudi Arabia emerged at the forefront, sending back 74 Pakistanis primarily for alleged drug trafficking and employment contract violations. Meanwhile, the United Arab Emirates expelled several Pakistani citizens citing illegal entry and theft, with some individuals returned immediately upon arrival.

Other nations from which deportations occurred include Oman, Cambodia, Bahrain, and Mexico. Notably, two individuals suspected of human smuggling were deported from Mauritania and Senegal. Upon arriving back in Pakistan, some deportees were transferred to the Federal Investigation Agency for further investigation.

In parallel, authorities at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport barred 86 passengers from leaving Pakistan, citing insufficient travel documentation and financial backing. Those stopped included Umrah pilgrims, students, and tourists, with some blacklisted from working in countries like Qatar and Turkey.
